A man in Japan effectively used the solar eclipse to propose to his girlfriend.
He’s doing it right.
“mommy, how’d daddy propose to you?”
“by using a solar eclipse”

Unproductive Summer Day 2. Must be a call for a late night jog. Trying to persuade myself to go back to working out. Skinny as I am, tummy doesn’t want to stay flat. Lol.
For how many times I’ve heard ‘Patience will be worth it eventually’, it’s finally came to my senses why. For the long await, patience has truly paid off. The complaints & aggravation within myself, the wonders why my effort wasn’t ever worthy to anyone, & the fact I chose to be single than to settle for anything less than I’ve ever wanted. Someone ‘different’ actually stepped into my life. Someone who actually wanted to be there for me, care for me, and was truly scared to lose me. Someone who actually meant his word for everything he’s said with no lies set behind it. Now, I believe the patience was worth it. That if you really set yourself to something, it will pay off. Maybe not within the next day, week, month, or year, but eventually, when it’s meant to happen, it will. Yes, growing up in this generation, left and right, you constantly see a couple walking by, you see in their eyes how much they truly care for one another, then one day, you see they’re complete strangers. I’ve never wanted that. I never wanted to get attached to someone that was less than what I wanted or a high possibility it wouldn’t work out because that would be setting myself up to get hurt. But this time, it’s not less than what I wanted, it’s everything I’ve wanted. Even more than expected. This once, someone actually noticed & embraced how much I truly can care for him, his happiness, his well being, and his family. Once you find someone who cares for you more than himself/herself, cherish them and be thankful that you actually have someone with that mindset to be with.
